Chapter Fourteen

- The Badlands, Present day -

After food, and the promised bout of mind-blowing sex, Grant and Gina returned with Trip, and the Warlock in tow. I lay sprawled across Avon’s lap—once more fully dressed—as he let his hand rest on my upper thigh while the other caressed my hair.

“You didn’t bring me back any presents?” Grant demanded with a teasing smirk.

“I’ve got all I need right here.” Avon squeezed my thigh. “Besides, I’m not feeling the need to go through with the training program. It’s a nice idea and the place was very professional but I think we should set it on the back burner for the moment.”

Grant dropped down in the seat opposite us. “You might be right, I like some spontaneity in my sexual encounters. I don’t want a girl trained so well that she’s like a robot.”

“Yup. I like ‘em warm and soft,” Avon said, his gaze on me the entire time. “You make any friends while you were out?”

“You know me, brother, I’m always making friends. Even if I don’t have your sunny disposition.”

“Meet anyone I’d like to know?”

“Not this time. It’s hard to compete with that little Witch of yours. How are you doing, sweetness?”

“Bite me,” I growled.

“I’ll leave that to lover-boy.” He winked at me before turning his attention back to Avon. “So, do you and Miss feisty pants have plans for the evening?”

“Well, I was thinking we should go out for a few drinks before I lock her away for the evening and fuck her mindless. I’m worried I’ll get into the terrible habit of staying in and spending all my time fucking her sweet little ass,” he said, sliding his hand higher up my skirt.

“Hmph. What a terrible fate that would be,” Grant mused.

Avon chuckled. “Truly terrible.” He slipped his fingers into my panties.

“Stop that,” I snapped.

“I’ll touch what’s mine whenever I want.” He bent down to kiss my neck, lightly nipping at my skin. He lapped at a sensitive spot with his tongue and I squirmed beneath his ministrations.

“Didn’t you want to go out?” I pressed.

“Trying to distract me? As if I don’t know how wet you’d be if I touched you.” His hand teased my upper thigh again. “But you are right, I did promise you a night out and, as you know, I always keep my promises,” he purred.

“I hate you.”

“That’s not what you say whenever I’m inside you,” he teased.

“It’s hard to say anything past the urge to gag,” I said snarkily.

“But you power thought, which is why I love fucking that mouth so much,” he retorted, raising a challenging eyebrow at me.

“Oh my Goddess,” I muttered beneath my breath as I felt my cheeks heat up.

“Atta girl. Now, get your ass up. I want you in one of those dresses with the thin fabric that I like to bunch up above your ass when I take you.”

I growled at him but climbed to my feet and stomped off into the other room. It wasn’t hard to do.
